On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which will determine their language level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language.
The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance and an award ceremony is held for the most academically bright students.

University of the West of England's Ayr campus is set in 20 acres of green, close to the River Ayr! It is an autonomous campus that has it all: state-of-the-art classrooms, sports hall, restaurant, cafeteria and library! The boarding school is about a 3-minute walk from the other buildings, in the picturesque streets of the university! The campus offers a innovative learning environment for their students, while giving them the opportunity to meet students rom all over the world and make unforgettable friendships! The safety of students is very important, and therefore the campus has secure entry systems, 24/7 staff presence, and is controlled by a closed CCTV monitoring system.
Situated amongst rolling countryside, the town of Ayr is surrounded by rural villages basked in rich cultural heritage – the infamous Robert Burns was born within the outskirts of the town. The town’s charming seafront and leafy suburbs are complimented by an excellent array of shops and restaurants, making Ayr one of Britain’s most attractive seaside destinations. Some of the most important sights are the Skyline in Ayr town centre, Ayr Town Hall and Gaiety Theatre, which was built in 1902!
The accommodation of the students is on the university campus, in apartments of 4-5 rooms with a shared equipped kitchen and living room. The rooms are single ensuite,w ith toilet and shower, and they also have a desk with a chair and a wardrobe with storage space for storing personal belongings.
The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries.
The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
The program could not miss visits to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling & Loch Lomond, where the students will get familiarised with the scottish culture and enjoy the beautiful sights that each city has to offer! Thanks to the excellent location of the campus, the program is also suitable for additional visits to the sights of the city and the surrounding areas!
