Thank you all for the trust you have shown us for another year! Our new programmes for summer 2025 along with the new prices will be announced soon!
On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which will determine their level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language. The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance and an award ceremony is held for the most academically bright students. The educational programme is accredited and certified by reputable audit institutions of Great Britain.
Riverside Campus is part of City of Glasgow College and opened recently in August 2015. It offers a modern-day, motivated and welcoming learning environment. The campus is on the banks of the River Clyde next to Glasgow Green and just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. Students have a range of first class facilities at their disposal, including rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a sports centre, a computer hall, a stylish dining room and up-to-the-minute equipped classrooms. The residences are a short walk from the restaurant, sports centre and school building.
Shops, restaurants and coffee bars are within easy reach on foot.
The campus has CCTV cameras throughout monitored 24 hours by security personnel.
Glasgow is the third largest city in Britain and Scotland's business capital. It is served by two airports, two major railway stations and a large bus terminal. The ride to Edinburgh takes approximately 50 minutes. Glasgow is a straightforward and easy city to walk and is known for its cultured, fashionable and friendly inhabitants. The city’s architecture is an attraction unto itself. Downtown has numerous impressive Victorian buildings and you can also see masterpieces of invention by the legendary designer and architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
The city has a longstanding reputation for its live music scene, which is annually honoured by world-renowned artists. It offers its visitor a selection of internationally eminent museums and art galleries (of which most have free entry), remarkable architecture, theatres, gorgeous parks, pulsating nightlife, good shopping and a variety of restaurants, eateries and bars.
Accommodation: In a modern accommodation building, in single or twin en-suite rooms. The rooms have a desk with a chair and a wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. There is a common sitting area for students to socialise.
The accommodation buildings are equipped with electronic lock while rooms and apartments lock with each student’s key to ensure the highest possible security.
Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed lunch.
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries.
The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
The program could not miss visits to Loch Lomond, Glasgow as well as the lovely Edinburgh, where the students will get familiarised with the British culture and enjoy the beautiful sights that each city has to offer! Thanks to the excellent location of the campus, the program is also suitable for additional visits to the sights of the city and the surrounding areas!
