On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which will determine their language level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language.
The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance and an award ceremony is held for the most academically bright students.
The educational programme is accredited and certified by reputable audit institutions of Great Britain.

The Campus is located in the heart of the city of Edinburgh. All facilities such as meals, classes and activities are held on campus. Accommodation is at Bainfield Hall which is located 2 km from the Merchiston campus. Bainfield Hall is a very modern building with apartments that have a kitchen, living room, Wi-Fi and common areas where students have the opportunity to make new acquaintances and relax with their friends from other countries! Students are transported by private bus every morning and afternoon. Their safety is considered very important, there are staff available 24/7 on the campus as well as CCTV surveillance.
Imposing and multifaceted, Edinburgh will capture you immediately with the castle on its commanding acropolis.
The centre is divided by shops along busy Princess Street, north of which spreads the neoclassical New Town, while to its south is the medieval Old Town. Parks and gardens alternate with hillocks and rocky outcrops.
The interesting thing however, is that although Edinburgh transports you centuries back visually, it keeps you firmly in the present, abuzz with students and youthful vitality. At length, on a fine day it ‘s worth taking a stroll down to the town’s seaside which draws a hustle ‘n bustle crowd of all races and from all walks of life.
Accommodation: The University offers single en-suite rooms. Students stay at Bainfield Hall Accommodation Block, which is 2 km far from the other facilities. A private transfer id arranged every morning and evening for the students, The rooms have a desk with chair and wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. Towels and bed linen are provided. There is a common sitting area for students to socialise.
Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities take place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries. The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
The programme rounds off with a full-day trip to and four visits every week to places such as Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Castle & Wallace Monument, St Andrews, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs
Due to the campus location, additional visits to the numerous attractions can be arranged on demand.
