Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, is considered one of the most popular destinations in Europe. In addition to its architecture, it is famous for its castles and stone streets in the center of the city and the surrounding green hills. Its center is divided into the Old Town with its medieval architecture, and the New Town with its neoclassical buildings. Edinburgh combines, in a unique way, calmness with intense life, the old with the modern element. It is important to note that both the Old and New Town are listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Nearby is the well worth a visit of Edinburgh Castle, the famous city of Glasgow and the medieval city of Stirling with its historic Great Hall castle. The picturesque area of Colinton is famous for its museums and art galleries where one can admire contemporary art. It is worth noting that Edinburgh is also called the "Athens of the North" as its citadel topographically has similarities with the Acropolis, but also "Dunedin", a name that comes from the Gaelic (Celtic language).
Accommodation: In single or twin en-suite rooms. The rooms have a desk with a chair and a wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. The halls are in close proximity to other buildings on the campus. The accommodation buildings are equipped with electronic lock while rooms and apartments lock with each student’s key to ensure the highest possible security.

On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.

The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
