On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which will determine their language level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language.
The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance and an award ceremony is held for the most academically bright students.
The educational programme is accredited and certified by reputable audit institutions of Great Britain

The campus in Kent has a selection of shops, including a grocery store, bookshop, pharmacy and launderettes. Food and drink is provided by range of cafes and bars run either by the University or the student union. Cafeteria style food is available in Rutherford College, fine dining at the Beagle Restaurant in Darwin College, and food is served at the bars and other cafes around campus.
Sporting facilities are spread across two main sites: the sports centre, which contains several multi-purpose sports halls, a fitness suite, squash courts and climbing wall and the Sports Pavilion site, with a variety of indoor and outdoor sports pitches and training facilities.
The Gulbenkian arts complex includes a theatre and cinema, as well as a small stage.
The safety of our students is always very important so the campus has a 24hr security presence
Canterbury is in Kent, near England’s southeast coast. It is claimed to have the mildest climate in the whole of Britain and characterised by its warm and hospitable environment.
The town’s most prominent attraction is the medieval cathedral along with the crumbling Roman walls, is existing proof of the town’s enormous history. Strolling along Canterbury’s paved streets, you get a rare sense of timelessness as medieval blends with modern. You will come across Roman constructions, ancient walls, charming gardens, traditional pubs, amiable eateries and contemporary shopping centres that are comparable to those of London.
Every year, millions of tourists come to ‘The Garden of England’ as Kent is known, in whose heart so gracefully rests the lovely town of Canterbury.
Accommodation: In single en-suite rooms. The rooms have a desk with α chair and wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. Towels and bed linen are provided. The halls are in close proximity to other buildings on the campus.
Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries. The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
The programme rounds off with one full day excursion and half-day visits every week.
