The educational programme is accredited and certified by reputable audit institutions of Great Britain.
One of London’s most famous universities! The single construction complex is in a modern campus site at 15 minutes walk from Uxbridge centre. Self-contained and providing everything one would expect from a modern University, it has shops, a travel agency, a bank, a bookstore, a supermarket, two amazing sports centres with indoor basketball and volleyball courts, as well as many football fields, tennis courts etc. The sports facilities are bordered with dense vegetation and foliage that create an environment of calmness and reflection. It is unquestionably one of London’s most prestigious Universities!
Uxbridge is a famous old market town on the river Come and at the last stop of the Underground’s Metropolitan Line. It is in a sheltered suburb of greater London, 45 minutes by tube from the city’s noisy centre with its overcrowded streets. It is an exceptionally good choice because you can have an educational holiday while being able to enjoy London in all its glory. What’s more, apart from the capability of exploring the famous capital, the nearby motorway also brings many famous places of interest within easy reach. Amongst these are Oxford, Cambridge and Windsor, while Heathrow airport is only a 20 minute drive.
London is the capital of Great Britain and the largest city in Europe. With more than 40 universities, London is a leading European and global destination for higher education. Its sights are countless! In a recent survey, the top ten most visited attractions are the British Museum, National Gallery, Natural History Museum, Tate Modern, London Eye, Science Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Tower of London, Royal Museums Greenwich and Madame Tussaud's.
Nevertheless, we should not overlook Buckingham Palace, the British Parliament, the wonderful Hyde Park, St. James Park & Regents Park, the various cathedrals dotted around the city, the fabulous theatres invariably staging exceptional performances, the innumerable shops and shopping centres that cater daily to thousands of casual buyers and shopaholics. Then, there are the enticing areas of Covent Garden, Kensington, Notting Hill, Soho, and Mayfair with restaurants, eateries, teashops, coffee bars, open-air flea markets and, of course, the city’s iconic landmark, the inimitable Big Ben.
Accommodation: In single en-suite rooms. The rooms have a desk with a chair and a wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. Towels and bed linen are provided. The halls are in close proximity to other buildings on the campus.
The accommodation buildings are equipped with electronic lock while rooms and apartments lock with each student’s key to ensure the highest possible security.
Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed lunch.
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries. The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
The programme rounds off with a full-day trip Oxford, Brighton or Bath and two visits to London each week to see places of interest like London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Windsor and many more.
Due to the campus location, additional visits to the numerous attractions can be arranged on demand.
EXTRA: Campus is in close proximity to an underground station, making transport to and from London easy!
