On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which will determine their language level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language.
The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance and an award ceremony is held for the most academically bright students.

The university's College Lane campus has modern facilities with accommodation halls, indoor and outdoor courts, tennis court, sports halls, classrooms, lecture theatre, cafeteria, ATM as well as a Student Union Disco! In the restaurants and common recreation areas, students can relax and interact with children from all over the world! It is worth noting that the sports facilities of the university are among the best in the whole of Great Britain! The University of Hertfordshire is approximately 1 hour by private coach from central London, making it easy to access the capital with its countless attractions and famous museums! Student safety is a matter of utmost importance, which is why the campus is monitored by closed-circuit CCTV.

Just 30 kilometers north of London, Hatfield is a destination that uniquely combines English history, natural beauty, and modern comforts. At the heart of its cultural life stands the impressive Hatfield House, a Jacobean mansion from the 17th century, considered one of the best-preserved historic homes in England. Visitors can tour its grand interiors, explore the lush gardens, and learn about Queen Elizabeth I, who once lived in the Old Palace on the estate.
For shopping enthusiasts, The Galleria Outlet Shopping Centre offers dozens of brand-name stores, restaurants, and a cinema, all set in a modern, industrial-style environment inspired by Hatfield's rich aerospace history.
Accommodation, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield
In single en-suite rooms in flats of 6 or 8. Each flat has a common kitchen area with tables and chairs. The rooms have a desk with chair and wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. The halls are in close proximity to other buildings on the campus.
The accommodation buildings are equipped with electronic lock while rooms and apartments lock with each student’s key to ensure the highest possible security.
Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.

Entertainment at University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries.
The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
The program could not miss visits to London, Oxford, Cambridge or Brighton, where students will get familiarised with the British culture and enjoy the beautiful sights that each city has to offer! Thanks to the excellent location of the campus, the program is also suitable for additional visits to the sights of the city and the surrounding areas!
