On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which will determine their language level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language.
The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance and an award ceremony for the most academically bright students.
The educational programme is accredited and certified by reputable audit institutions of Great Britain.
Kingston is an attractive hillside university campus that offers modern buildings and facilities. It is surrounded by landscaped gardens and green open spaces. The campus is self-contained and all facilities are within walking distance. There are tennis courts, a student bar, restaurant, learning cafe and a lot of social spaces. It provides an excellent green and safe background for students, with a friendly community feel. The campus offers free transfers to the nearest station and town centre so it is easy get around. Central London can be easily reached in about 35 minutes by public transport. A 24-hour CCTV is included.
London is the capital of Great Britain and the largest city in Europe. With more than 40 universities, London is a leading European and global destination for higher education. Its sights are countless! In a recent survey, the top ten most visited attractions are the British Museum, National Gallery, Natural History Museum, Tate Modern, London Eye, Science Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Tower of London, Royal Museums Greenwich and Madame Tussaud's.
Nevertheless, we should not overlook Buckingham Palace, the British Parliament, the wonderful Hyde Park, St. James Park & Regents Park, the various cathedrals dotted around the city, the fabulous theatres invariably staging exceptional performances, the innumerable shops and shopping centres that cater daily to thousands of casual buyers and shopaholics. Then, there are the enticing areas of Covent Garden, Kensington, Notting Hill, Soho, and Mayfair with restaurants, eateries, teashops, coffee bars, open-air flea markets and, of course, the city’s iconic landmark, the inimitable Big Ben.
Accommodation: In single en-suite rooms. Every flat has 6 - 8 bedrooms and share a kitchen and a sitting area. The rooms have a desk with a chair and wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. The accommodation buildings are equipped with electronic lock while rooms and apartments lock with each student’s key to ensure the highest possible security.
Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries. The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
The programme could not miss visits to Brighton, Oxford or Cambridge and of course London for a chance to see some of the innumerable sights.
