The adventure camp is south of Munich right next to one of the most pristine lakes in the German Alps, Lake Spitzingsee. The view is wonderful, looking out of the window you´ll see either lake or mountains. Our Adventure Camp is fantastic if you like sports & adventure - you´ll have lots of fun after German classes: we´ll go hiking with a GPS, build rafts or sleep outside by the campfire. Munich is just 50 km away, and every week we organize 2 trips to Munich.
Munich is the capital of the state of Bavaria, belonging to Federal Republic of Germany. It is one of the most popular destinations and the safest city in Germany. It is built on the banks of the Izar, one of the largest tributaries of the upper Danube. It is a large industrial and cultural centre with Germany‘s two best and most famous educational institutions: the University of Munich and the Munich Polytechnic. Its museums are fascinating and it has a wealth of superior artistic institutions.
Words are not enough to describe the scenery. Its people are incredibly gracious and welcoming with visitors. Munich is a popular tourist destination and has been described as ‘the secret capital of Germany.’ It has innumerable attractions such as the Opera, the Art Gallery, famous churches and cathedrals.
Rooms are with 3-4 beds with own shower and bathroom. The rooms have a desk with chair and wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. Towels and bed linen are provided. Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the German language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries. The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
The programme rounds off with full-day excursions and half-day visits every week. Due to the campus location, additional visits to the numerous attractions can be arranged on demand.
