Cambridge Summer Courses offer an exceptional academic experience for students aged 13-24, hosted at prestigious Cambridge colleges such as Cor Christi, Sidney Sussex, Fitzwilliam and Murray Edwards.
Cambridge needs no introduction. It is one of the most distinguished university towns worldwide. The River Cam, from where it took its name, flows sedately amongst buildings, adding a tone of rural ambience and giving one the sense that time affects this city favourably, making it one of Britain’s true gems. Combining historic and traditional buildings with architecturally more contemporary constructions, it invites you to exploration. Theatres, museums and music halls make up a city that’s extremely student friendly and welcoming to tourists from everywhere, who flock to it each year. The highlight of the summer is the Film Festival and the Shakespeare Festival! Visitors should not neglect to go to the renowned King's College Chapel. The University of Cambridge was founded in the 13th century and is now a global centre for scientific research.
The College offers single or twin rooms with private or shared toilet/shower facilities. The rooms have a desk with chair and wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. Towels and bed linen are provided. There is a sitting area where students can socialise in their free time.
Meal plan: The programme offers two meals daily (breakfast and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service.
A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries. The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!
The programme rounds off with three full-day trips during the 2 weeks' programme to places such as London, Warwick Castle, Windsor Castle or Bath.
Due to the campus location, additional visits to the numerous attractions can be arranged on demand.
