In summer courses, students from 70 different countries meet and learn together. You all have the same goal: Learning German and getting to know the country.
On the first day they take a placement test and they are having 20 lessons of German per week. They improve their German as they concentrate on the primary skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. The main goal of the course is speaking and the confident and fluent usage of the language. The teacher orients the instruction toward practice. This way they learn the language in a creative context. During instruction schools pays particular attention to creating an exciting atmosphere in which students can "play" with the language. The teachers incorporate short tests so to receive feedback on your language skill development.

The summer camp is situated above the picturesque Rhine village of Oberwesel, directly next to the medieval Schönburg Castle. Nowhere can one find such an abundance of medieval castles and fortresses as in the Mid-Rhine Valley, where Germany's most famous river winds itself through a narrow valley surrounded by mountains of slate.
Location Oberwessel
Oberwesel is a town on the Middle Rhine in the Rhein - Hunsruck - Kreis in Rhineland- Palatinate, Germany. It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde Hunsruck - Mittelrhein, whose seat is in Emmelshausen.
Oberwesel lies on the river Rhine's left (west) bank in the Rhine Gorge or Upper Middle Rhine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, between the neighbouring towns of Sankt Goar and Bacharach. It is called Oberwesel ("Upper Wesel") to distinguish it from the other city called Wesel along the Lower Rhine.

Student residence offers participants comfortable multi-bed rooms with their own bathroom. It offers various free-time activities. There is a sports field for soccer, volleyball and basketball, a place to grill with covered huts, and table tennis, foosball and billiards.
All rooms are furnished with: Bunkbeds, wardrobe for clothing storage, Bed linens and towels
On arrival they receive fresh towels and fresh bed linels: exchanged once per week Cleaning service included. No laundry facilities available so enough clothing is required.
Entertainment at did Institut - Oberwesel
In Oberwesel there is a lot to experience. The leisure program is a combination of sports, workshops, outdoor activities and small excursions in the local region. On Saturday, they will travel to another large city and spend the whole day underway.
Visits include Cologne, Trier, Rudesheim, Tower Museum in Schönburg Castle,Rheinfels Castle.
