On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which determine their language level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language.
The educational programme includes language lessons and is perfect for students eager to both improve their English language skills but also acquire vital life skills for the future. General English lessons help to develop 21st century skills to help our students become well-rounded global citizens and the leaders of tomorrow.
The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Canford is located in Dorset, South West England. The campus sits alongside the beautiful River Stour, with easy access to footpaths to neighbouring town, Wimborne, and trailways providing off-road routes to parks and beaches. The schools boasts easy access to the Jurassic Coast, with its miles of coastline and second largest natural harbour in the world, along with stunning countryside and New Forest National Park. Canford is easily accessible. The school is well served by rail, air and road links for international families, or those living slightly further afield. It is under two hours from London, Oxford and Exeter.
Within the grounds are a boathouse, sports centre, including a 25 metre pool and modern gym facilities, outdoor education centre, climbing wall, 12 grass sports pitches, 2 full sized all weather pitches, 30 tennis courts, a 9 hole golf course and one of the few original Real Tennis courts in the country. The arts benefit from The Layard Theatre, seating nearly 300, the Music School, seating nearly 200, and there is a dedicated Coldstream Gallery space regularly exhibiting the latest pupil and staff art.
Wimborne Minster is a market town in Dorset in South West England, and the name of the Church of England church in that town. It lies at the confluence of the River Stour and the River Allen, 5 miles (8 km) north of Poole, on the Dorset Heaths, and is part of the South East Dorset conurbation.
Rooms are comfortable single, double, and small dorm rooms with shared bathrooms and spacious common rooms and living areas where you can relax, watch a film, have a game of pool or ping pong and feel at home. Rooms also have a desk and a small wardrobe for hanging clothes.
Students stay in one of five boarding houses. These houses are where our students forge strong friendships, which often last beyond the Summer experience, and our Houseparents and house structure is ideal for facilitating these bonds.
The accommodation buildings are equipped with electronic lock while rooms and apartments lock with each student’s key to ensure the highest possible security.
Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.
Students enjoy a fun and varied social programme with a range of exciting activities, show-stopping events and thrilling excursions The social programme celebrates the very best of a summer school, allowing students to learn new skills, make friends, build confidence, and make unforgettable memories.
Over 2 weeks, students will go on three excursions to famous UK cities and popular destinations.Canford School's superb South Coast location means beach day trips feature on the excursion programme, as well as adventures to famous cities such as Bath and Portsmouth, not forget the capital city, London.
