Lessons at Charterhouse School, Surrey

Nike Football Camp offers students the opportunity to improve their skills in football under the supervision of qualified coaches. 40 lessons including training, team spirit, physical fitness and seminars on nutrition and football psychology. All coaches are certified by UEFA.

On the first day, all students take part in a placement test which will determine their language  level. The classes are multi-national to encourage constant use of the language. 

The teachers are qualified and certified in teaching English to students as a foreign language. At the end of the programme students receive a Certificate of Attendance and an award ceremony is held for the most academically bright students. The educational programme is accredited and certified by reputable audit institutions of Great Britain.

Charterhouse School, Surrey - Information about the school

Founded in 1600, Charterhouse is one of the most historic schools in the United Kingdom. The school in Surrey, near London, since 1847, with 240 acres of green space and a central school building with the most modern facilities. Charterhouse's historic setting includes 12 immaculate natural grass football pitches and is an inspiration to every student! Charterhouse's rich football history has defined modern football arrangements, such as the Football Association in 1863. The Old Carthusians, a former Charterhouse schoolboy team, also won the FA Cup in 1881.

Surrey is only 30 minutes by train from London. It is a quiet green area with picturesque buildings, main streets with cafes, restaurants, shops. In Surrey there is a train station where you can visit the nearest cities, with the big shopping centers and of course London!​​

Accommodation, Charterhouse School, Surrey

Accommodation: Rooms are single, twin or multi-bedded, all with shared shower and toilet facilities. The rooms have a desk with  a chair and a wardrobe with storage space for the students’ personal belongings. There is also a sitting area for students to socialise. Towels and bed linen are provided.

Meal plan: The programme offers three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the University restaurant. It’s self-service. On the day of the full-day excursion breakfast and dinner will be offered at the restaurant and lunch will be provided as packed.

Entertainment at Charterhouse School, Surrey

A full and varied programme of sports, cultural and art activities takes place in the campus areas. This is another great opportunity for students to use the English language and also to have fun and get to know their peers from other countries. The social programme is organised by the staff of the organisation and includes sports, team games (quiz nights, disco parties and treasure hunt) and cultural outings so get ready to party & fun!

Faciltiies include tennis and football courts, a sports hall, a swimming pool, squash courts, playing fields, drama theatre, dance studio, IT suite, art studio, cafe, student lounge.
